From the mid 1970’s through the mid 1990’s Grand Master Lee has served honorably in many distinguished positions and taught both the Korean and U.S. Military forces in specialized combat techniques.  As Taekwondo has evolved over the years into an International Olympic sport Grandmaster Lee has continued to focus his training on the traditional nature of Korean mixed martial arts by incorporating Tang Soo Do, Taekwondo, Judo, Jujitsu, and Muay Thai Kickboxing into his students training.

Traditional teaching methods focused on building character.

In 2001 Grand Master Lee relocated to the Washington D.C. area and opened the World Martial Arts Center in Warrenton Virginia, where he continues to teach the Hwal Moo form of Taekwondo. Grand Master Lee oversees all Taekwondo instruction at WMAC. Whether it’s a children’s white belt class or advanced black belt training, Grand Master Lee continues to actively participate in student training on a daily basis.

Grand Master Lee’s teachings are based on traditional Korean mixed martial arts for practical combat and self-defense, incorporating elements from many different styles to defend against both single and multiple attackers.
